Surrender to a sabbatical. Sounds like a plan.
First, a big thank you to every guest and listener of my podcast, Little Detours with Regina Brett.
You made it a joy.
But it’s time to hit the pause button on my podcast.
And on trying to answer the question, When is your next book coming out?
The truth is, I have four books written that never found a home.
The Universe/God/Creator once opened the publishing door wide and I was blessed to have three books published in the U.S. and 7 in Poland.
What is the Universe trying to tell me now? I don’t know, but I’m going to spend a year listening.
I’m taking a sabbatical from the podcast and from agonizing over how to answer that question, When is your next book coming out?
My new answer: I’m on sabbatical.
When I say it, a wave of calm washes over the beach of my soul.
I keep this fountain pen on my desk from my favorite almost monk, Bill O’Connor, who carried me along for years as my mentor and gave me this gift.
The Celtic rock is a piece of my spiritual home, Ireland. It grounds me just to look at it.
And that word Inspire, it’s what I was born to do.
Where? For now, in my weekly column in the Cleveland Jewish News and in my weekly newsletter that comes out every Sunday.
You can sign up for it from my website.
I share glimpses of my soul that hopefully speak to yours.
Thanks for sharing this wild ride of life with me. It’s a joy to share the journey, even the bumpy parts.
